Cumulus’ KKOB(AM) Shuffles After Move From Two-Tower Site
The heritage Albuquerque station is dealing with the ramifications after a hot-air balloon took down one of its towers last October. It moved from its site of nearly 85 years in September and is on a temporary 1 kw day/night setup with a long-wire antenna from an FM tower west of the city.

NAB’s Matheny, Mondal to Lead BPS Development
NAB said it is part of a realignment to accelerate the deployment of the Broadcast Positioning System, the ATSC 3.0-based alternative to GPS. Sam Matheny will be the EVP of the BPS initiative, while Tariq Mondal will serve as VP.
