Ground delays at airports and flight cancelations across the U.S. are persisting because of staffing issues as a result of the ongoing government shutdown.

As of this morning, more than 2,000 flights traveling to, from and within the U.S. have been delayed and 877 were canceled, according to FlightAware.com.
