Cloud Application Updates

Zscaler is adding below-mentioned url’s to respective cloud applications and updating risk index of respective cloud applications on November 15th, 2025 and recommends that administrators review their Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) policies that use these cloud applications / url’s. 
 

What is changing?

Zscaler is making below changes to respective cloud applications:

Addition amazon.com/photos/ and amazon.ca/photos/ under Amazon Cloud Drive 
<Amazon Cloud Drive will be renamed to Amazon photos in future>

Addition of oaiusercontent.com under ChatGPT cloud app

Addition of ppl-ai-file-upload.s3.amazonaws.com under Perplexity cloud app

Addition of sseposture-routing-commercial.k8s.5c10.org under Duo cloud app

Addition of copilot.cloud.microsoft.com under Copilot Cloud app

Addition of character.ai to cloud app Character.AI

Who is impacted?

ZIA customers who have policies built on above Cloud applications, URL’s or risk index.

When is the update scheduled?

Deployment is expected to complete for all clouds by November 15th, 2025

What are my next steps?

Zscaler recommends that administrators review the policies against cloud applications and URLs mentioned above and update them as required.
