The gradebook in SIS ParentVue and StudentVue will not be available from Friday, October 31 at 4:00pm through Monday, November 10 at 6:00 am. Report cards are scheduled to be loaded in SIS on Monday, November 10. Report cards will also be mailed home to those families that have not opted to go paperless.

Schedule Changes and Withdrawal Deadline

The deadline to withdraw from a class without a grade penalty (i.e. the class will not appear on the transcript) is Tuesday, November 18th. After this time, a withdrawal grade (WP or WF) will be required on the transcript if a student is dropping a class. While the deadline to change electives has passed, schedule change requests to change to a different level of a core course will still be considered through the end of the 2nd quarter, pending space availability in the requested course.

ASVAB at McLean High School

McLean will host the ASVAB on 12/2 at 8:00 AM in the Lecture Hall. Any student, 16+ years or older is welcome to take this test. ASVAB is the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. While anyone interested in enlisting in any of the military branches must pass the ASVAB, the heart of the test is career exploration. Students can learn more and sign up here.

Paperless Report Cards

We’re excited to offer you a more convenient option for receiving your child’s report cards: Go Paperless!

By choosing to go paperless, you'll be able to:

  • Access report cards directly in ParentVUE with just a few clicks.
  • Reduce wait time in seeing your child’s report card.

Here's how you can opt-in:

  1. Log into ParentVUE, click on "My Account," and select “Go Paperless.”
  2. All parents/guardians living with the student at the same address must have an active SIS ParentVUE account to opt-in.
  3. Once selected, the “Go Paperless” option will apply to all associated students, no matter their grade level.
  4. If you’ve already opted for paperless for your secondary students, it will automatically apply to any younger siblings at the elementary level too!
