A Note from your BES Administration

Dear Belvedere Family:

It has been a vibrant and exciting week at Belvedere! We ended the week on a high note with our rocket launch event, and the excitement was contagious. Students were filled with anticipation and joy as they watched each rocket take off into the sky. A special thank you to Ms. Boone, whose creative costume brought extra fun and energy to the celebration.

On Wednesday, our amazing PTA held a well-attended meeting with 45 participants joining both in person and online. Ms. Vanderhye provided valuable updates about Title I, the School Improvement Plan, and our school’s strategic priorities. Ms. Zamudio, school librarian, also shared information about the upcoming Book Fair, which we are all looking forward to. We are deeply grateful for the ongoing partnership and support of our PTA.

Last night, Ms. Jaclyn Walsh hosted an AAP (Advanced Academic Programs) Information Night, focused on the different levels of service available. We had 25 attendees join both virtually and in person. Thank you to all the families who participated and to Ms. Walsh for sharing such helpful information.

Please note that next Monday, October 13, is a student holiday and a staff development day for our teachers.  The following Wednesday, October 15, is an early release day with school ending at 1:05 p.m.

Thank you for being an essential part of our Belvedere community. We hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the beautiful fall weather with your family.

Have a Wonderful Weekend,

Cecilia Vanderhye, Tara Boone, Kelly Cabezas
