Ban on delta 8 dealt a lawsuit: That didn’t take long. Three businesses are suing Ohio over Gov. Mike DeWine's temporary ban on "intoxicating" hemp products. The Ohio Healthy Alternatives Association, which advocates for alternatives to alcohol and prescription drugs, quickly filed the lawsuit in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas after the governor announced a 90-day ban, reports Sarah Buduson, who spoke with a wine and liquor store owner in Mentor who called the ban “a kick in the gut” as he stands to lose $100,000 in inventory. Another police chase: Another innocent life lost. This time, the chase started in Euclid, and it ended with the death of an innocent man. We cover way too many of these. Watch Kaylee Olivas’s report.

The Browns’ owners would like more public money, please: Representatives for Brook Park and Haslam Sports Group made their case this week for $70.3 million in state money for upgraded roads, revamped freeway ramps and other public infrastructure improvements around the future stadium site. Watch Michelle Jarboe’s report

Not in my front yard: This one puts a new twist on the “Not in My Backyard” (NIMBY) movement. Out in Portage County, residents on one stretch of road are vocally opposed to a bike path extension that would shave 15-18 feet off their front yards. This is one of those where all sides raise some fair points. Watch Clay LePard’s report.

You love to see it: A full season of De’Andre Hunter in the wine and gold could be a fun one for Cavs fans, reports the Akron Beacon Journal.
