The Sunshine Scoop

We need your partnership to ensure your child is in school and ready to learn every single day! Every day your child is in school is a day of valuable learning, so we encourage you to check the FCPS calendar and plan trips and family events for school holidays. Please note the following upcoming days off: Indigenous Peoples Day on October 13th (Holiday), Diwali on October 20th (Holiday), and a Student Holiday on November 3rd and 4th (Teacher Workdays). Remember, absences add up quickly! Missing just two days a month makes a student "chronically absent." When possible, please schedule appointments outside of school hours, and if your child must miss school due to illness or an emergency, notify our school office immediately. Let's work together to make attendance a priority!
