As We Like It by Oded Gross, Oct 9 & 12

As We Like It follows the story of a woman named Rose, who tries to motivate her family to rehearse in the serenity and privacy of the woods a production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It to be performed at the wedding of the Duke and his betrothed, the Fairy Queen. But there is no Fairy Queen, no Duke, and no serene forest. This delusion is Rose’s shield against a brutal reality she doesn’t wish to confront — she and her family are in hiding from the Nazis in the grim forests of Poland during World War 2. More

Overcoming Orion by Abby Dunbar, Oct 17 & 19

In Overcoming Orion, we meet Artemis, who, for twenty years, has set aside her duties as goddess of the hunt to run a lesbian bar for mortals. When Iphigenia — the runaway daughter of a power-hungry king — seeks shelter, a fleeting kiss forces Artemis to confront the love and grief she has long tried to forget. Through memories of her bond with Orion, a mortal hunter and trans man, the play reimagines Greek mythology through a queer lens.
