October 3 - News and Notes!
Rolling Valley Families,
We hope you had a wonderful week! This week we had Fall Picture Day and enjoyed lots of fun activities. The weather has been perfect for outdoor play and for hands-on learning. One of our amazing art teachers, Ms. Massie, has been decorating our hallways, her use of bright colors has really made them pop! Be sure to check the dates below for all of our upcoming events.

Curriculum Night - Oct. 8!
We’re Excited for the Start of a New School Year!
Welcome to a new year of learning and growth! In our annual AAP Fall Newsletter, you’ll find information about the many ways students can access Advanced Academic Program (AAP) curriculum and resources.
During Curriculum Night on Wednesday, October 8, from 5:30–7:30 PM, a review of the AAP Continuum of Services and overview of our program will be shared. In addition, families will have the opportunity to participate in literacy and math rotations alongside the AAP session.
Parents are welcome to attend all sessions to get a comprehensive look at the exciting work happening in our classrooms, or pick and choose the sessions that are most relevant to their family.
We look forward to seeing you there!
All students and staff are encouraged to participate in the Walk, Bike & Roll to School event of Wednesday, October 8th! Students who get to school without a car will earn a small token. Those students, as well as students who walk to their bus stop, will be signing their name to their class leaf. The class leaves will be displayed in the gym for everyone to see.
