A Message From Principal Clarke

Clarke

Dear Beech Tree Families,

Students are wrapping up their beginning-of-year assessments. In the weeks ahead, teachers will meet with you to share insights about your child’s strengths and areas of focus. If you have not already scheduled a parent conference, teachers will reach out to do so in the near future. We value this important partnership in supporting your child’s growth.

Next week is an uninterrupted week of learning. Thank you for making sure your child is present and on time each day. Every instructional minute matters, and consistent attendance plays a vital role in your child’s success.

This week we also celebrated Blue Star Welcome Week. Our students and staff embraced the theme days and showed support for our military connected families. Moments like these highlight the connection and community we are proud to foster at our school.

On Friday, we celebrated Custodial Appreciation Day. Maria, Armando, Ada, and Phan work tirelessly each day to keep our school sparkling clean and bright. Their hard work and dedication make our building a safe, welcoming place for all students, staff, and families. Thank you for all that you do!

We ended the week with our Beaver Birthday luncheon. Our October Beavers had us in stitches as they shared stories of favorite foods, fun things to do for birthdays and hobbies. It was a fun way to end the week!

Thank you for all that you do to support our work.

With appreciation,

Principal Clarke

early release

Please fill out the early release form for each of your children who attend Beech Tree by Friday, September 5th, to help finalize our plans. We need a response for every student for each early release Wednesday to ensure that all students are safely accounted for. Preschool students are not released early on these days. They follow their regular schedule. All students in grades K-5 are sent home unless a request to remain in school is noted on the form below. Instructional Assistants will supervise students who stay while teachers engage in professional development and planning.
