Dear Families,
This week was filled with amazing learning and connections with our Dolphins! From exploring new concepts in the classroom to building friendships and curiosity, our students continue to inspire us every day with their excitement, creativity, and enthusiasm. It’s a joy to watch them grow and thrive in such a vibrant, supportive community.
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 10th for Walk & Roll and the South Lakes Homecoming Parade! Celebrate Dolphin Pride all day by starting the morning with Walk & Roll at 8:00 a.m., wearing your Lake Anne Spirit Wear or blue and white to show your school spirit. Keep the fun going in the afternoon by joining the Homecoming Parade at 4:30 p.m., where we’ll walk and hand out candy. If you’d like to ride the bus from Lake Anne at 4:00 p.m., sign up here!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Jill D. Stewart, Principal
Mrs. Valencia Chenier, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Leslie Grumbach, Assistant Principal

Attendance is an important life skill that will help your child later in life. It’s a good habit to build now to help them graduate from college on time and routinely report to work on time once they have a career.
Please take a look at the FCPS Calendar. Try to schedule any trips or family events on weekends and school holidays. Every day of learning is a day toward success. Keep in mind that absences add up quickly. Students who are absent 10% of the school year (or just two days per month) are considered “chronically absent.”
When possible, schedule appointments for your child outside of school hours. If your child needs to miss school because of an illness or appointment, you must report the absence to our school.
