Disability History and Awareness Month
In Virginia during October, Disability History and Awareness activities provide an opportunity to create greater public awareness for individuals with disabilities, with the goal of full inclusion in our community.
Moon Festival – October 6, 2025
The Full Moon Festival is one of the most treasured times of the year for many Asian families. Known as Chuseok in Korea and Tết Trung Thu in Vietnam, it is celebrated when the moon glows at its brightest, symbolizing family unity, gratitude, and abundance.
According to the lunar calendar, this year’s celebration will take place on October 6, 2025, a cherished time of the year to gather together under the radiant glow of the full moon.
