It has been another great week at CES. Next week will be a full five day week of school for staff and students and we are gearing up for many fun and engaging community events throughout the month of October. See below for more details and have a great weekend!

PTA News & Notes

BINGOween - October 24

Mark your calendar and plan to join us for BINGOween, October 24^th! This event is a student favorite where families and friends dress up in costumes and play BINGO. There will be raffles, a silent auction, concessions, and lots of fun. You can volunteer here or donate supplies here!

October PTA Meeting Change

The October PTA meeting has been moved to Tuesday, October 14, 7 PM.

We encourage all Columbia families to attend the Boundary Review Community Meeting for the Annandale High School Pyramid on October 21 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Information on these meetings can be found here.

CES supporting AHS food pantry

Isabella Martinez, current 5th grader, and her friends raised $550 for the Annandale High School Food Pantry recently at a local bake sale. They had a special visit from Ms. Boudart, Ms. Nevin, Mrs. Eggleton, Jenny from SACC, and Norma Foti who started the food pantry at Annandale HS. #SmallSchoolBigHeart
