Blue Star Welcome Week FCPS

Blue Star Welcome Week honors the 600,000 military families who relocate to new communities each year, whether from within the United States or abroad. The goal of this special week is to improve their sense of belonging in the communities where they live and serve.

This week at FEES, our 6th grade volunteers partnered with Ms. Villafuerte to “Chalk the Walk” at the school entrance. Students created colorful welcome messages and heartfelt thank-you notes as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation.
