Join the Arlington County Digital Equity Initiative and Housing& for a virtual event at the intersection of housing and digital inclusion. In celebration of Digital Inclusion Week and Affordable Housing Month, this forum brings together a dynamic group of affordable housing developers and service providers exploring technology through the lens of housing, equity, and community development.

The Digital Equity Initiative and Housing& present a dynamic group of panelists and presenters in a virtual event on Fri., Oct. 10, at 10 a.m.

 

Digital Inclusion Week is an annual week of awareness, recognition, and celebration and is organized by the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) and its 2,000+ affiliates nationwide. Check out other events happening virtually here, including a Digital Inclusion 101 webinar.

Teleconnect Space Expands to Courthouse Library

Arlington Public Library now has two Teleconnect Spaces. Inspired by the success of Columbia Pike Library's space, a new Teleconnect Space is now open in the Bozman Government Center just steps away from Courthouse Library (2100 Clarendon Blvd., Room 106a). 


The Teleconnect Space is a free, private room that can be reserved for online healthcare, social services, job, and career appointments. The Teleconnect Space is a pilot project on digital equity sponsored by Arlington Public Library, the Department of Community Planning, Housing and Development, and the Department of Technology Services.

Free Digital Skills Training Offered by Alliance for Arlington Senior Programs

October 28 – 30, 2025

The Alliance for Arlington Senior Programs, in partnership with the County's Digital Equity Initiative and 55+ Program, is hosting free digital skills trainings for all adults, regardless of age.

Come learn from national digital literacy experts Connected Nation. Topics include using web browsers, creating passwords that are hard to guess, using search engines, navigating a mobile device, and so much more. 


Each class includes instruction in English and Spanish; the instructor speaks both languages.


Registration, either using this form or by phone, is preferred but not required. However, classes will be capped at 20 learners.

Coalition Member Spotlight

Free Cybersecurity + AI Clinic Seeking Partner Organizations

The NSI Cybersecurity + AI Clinic — a joint initiative of George Mason University and Howard University — offers no-cost cybersecurity and AI risk assessments tailored for nonprofits, small businesses, and other community organizations.  

Teams of trained students under the guidance of experienced cybersecurity lawyers and industry professionals work with your organization to:  

  • Identify cybersecurity and AI risks
  • Write or review security policies and response plans
  • Create staff training materials
  • Develop AI use and governance guidelines
