Lubber Run Community Center Solar Panels: Up and Running
Solar panels installed on the roof of the Lubber Run Community Center, through a Power Purchase Agreement with Dominion Energy Solutions, are now fully operational. This photovoltaic system is anticipated to provide an estimated 65% of the Community Center’s electricity needs which equals approximately the annual use of 26 average homes. The Lubber Run solar installation increases the share of local solar generation on the grid, enhances energy resilience and showcases solar applications at a prominent County facility.
