An Important Message to Our Community Regarding Varsity Football Games

As we prepare for our Homecoming game today, we want to share reminders that will ensure a safe, fun, and respectful environment for all our students, families, and fans. We are looking forward to a great celebration and want to remind everyone of our key game-day policies.

Stadium Policies and Prohibited Items

• For the safety of all attendees, no outside food or drinks are permitted in the stadium.

Bag and Backpack Policy:

• Backpacks are not allowed.
• Students are not permitted to bring any bags into the stadium.
• For adults, purses, diaper bags, and reasonably sized bags are permitted but may be subject to search and inspection upon entry.

Youth Supervision:

• All elementary and middle school-aged children must be accompanied by a supervising adult to enter and attend the game.

Pick up time:

• We also wanted to send a gentle reminder about a very important part of our game-day operations: student pick-up. For the safety and well-being of all students, please make sure your child is picked up promptly after the game.
• The expectation is that all students will be picked up within 30 minutes of the game's end. As a best practice, we ask that you plan to arrive at West Potomac no later than 9:30 PM to ensure a timely pick-up.
• Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated and helps us ensure a smooth and safe end to each game.

Wolverine Sportsmanship Good sportsmanship is at the heart of competition, and we are relying on our students, parents, and community members to lead by example. We will not tolerate profanity, derogatory comments, or other inconsiderate actions directed at officials, teams, coaches, staff, or other spectators. Please be aware that individuals who violate these rules may be removed from the competition site and school grounds.
