Office of the Spokesperson Secretary Rubio’s Call with Latvian Foreign Minister BrazeThe below is attributable to Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott: Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke today with Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze. Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Braze emphasized the strength of the U.S.-Latvia bilateral relationship, and its importance to regional security and stability. The Secretary and the Foreign Minister also discussed deepening economic cooperation in the defense industry as a means to address shared security challenges.
