Today's starting lineup
Almost eight months after their 2024 season ended with a second-round playoff loss in Kansas City, the Texans begin a new campaign today in Los Angeles against the Rams (3:25 p.m. on CBS). It's a homecoming for C.J. Stroud, the Southern California native. Jonathan M. Alexander looks at Stroud's bond with his hometown of Rancho Cucamonga and the city's affection for him. Also, here are five things to watch with the Texans as well as four key factors in the matchup with the Rams.
