Ancient Plants Sketch Hike (10 a.m. - noon)
The forests at Huntley Meadows Park in Alexandria are home to plants whose ancestors have existed since dinosaur times. Learn about and sketch ferns, moss and their allies as you take a 1.5 mile walk through the forest. Registration is $18.
Vacuum Leaf Collection Information Session (10 a.m. - noon)
The Solid Waste Management Program invites county vacuum leaf collection customers to join an information session at the Mason District Governmental Center in Annandale. Staff will provide updates on the upcoming season.
