Health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is appearing today before the Senate Finance Committee, a week after new upheaval at the CDC. Lawmakers are likely to press the secretary on the ouster of Susan Monarez, the former agency director who resisted Kennedy’s desired changes to vaccine policies.
