Strangely, it’s a bit reassuring to wake up and realize that everyone else is also in FOMO driven anxiety. I think this inflection point is meant to connect us to wake up from the state of winner takes all, because the transit winner will have 15 min of fame and fade into exhaustion.

Well done! This is a very important topic and this article digs in much deeper that we usually get in the press.
The whole idea of the NRR metric is to shine a light on “growth from the base” (as opposed to growth from new customers). But all the gymnastics around these calculations means that a lot of the time we don’t get that. That said, it’s good that there is disclosure at all on this. Some of the largest SaaS companies like Salesforce simply don’t give us anything on retention.
My wish — beyond having NRR definitions be more consistent — would be to have more companies report the companion GRR metric (gross revenue retention) which, when done right, reveals how much churn and downsells these companies endure in a year on a dollar basis. It’s a much more pure measure that only a veryfew public companies consistently report.

Vibe Coding (Context Engineering) is far from production ready, but the progress that has been made in this area has been nothing short of astounding. I expect that within the next 6-12 months, AI tools like Cursor, Replit and others will easily handle most coding tasks and developers will simply validate the result. We've been exploring AI use cases for business for the last three years, and with over 25 years of development experience, this technology still blows my mind.
