Comprehensive Plan Amendment 2024-I-1J (7426 Idylwood Road) Planning Commission Action and Recommendation
The Planning Commission public hearing for Comprehensive Plan amendment 2024-I-1J (7426 Idylwood Road) was held, and a decision was made on July 16, 2025. 2024-I-1J (7426 Idylwood Road): On February 20, 2024, the Board of Supervisors authorized the consideration of a Plan amendment for Tax Map Parcels 40-3 ((1)) 6, 7, 7A, and 9 at 7401, 7407 and 7413 Leesburg Pike and 7426 Idylwood Road in the Providence Supervisor District, in response to an out-of-turn Plan amendment nomination. The proposed amendment considers medium-density residential development, with suitable conditions related to site design, recognizing retention of the existing Church.
PA-2024-I-1J is concurrently under review with Rezoning application RZ/FDP 2019-PR-008. The Staff Report for PA 2024-I-1J and RZ/FDP 2019-PR-008 has been previously furnished and is available online at:
