There have been some efforts, from CNN Max to the live CBS News coverage offered on Paramount+. The latest to try its hand is ABC, which will launch a new daily short-form program for Disney+.The lack of a news presence on streaming (if you don't count YouTube or TikTok), is one of the last advantages that linear TV holds. But if initiatives like the ABC venture prove successful, expect that edge to deteriorate
