There are a few skincare products that seem to perplex people—the face oil is one of them. Not only is it one of those formulas that seems to be forgotten amidst frenzied quest for the perfect vitamin C and retinol or the one moisturiser to end all moisturisers, it’s actually made most of the oily skin-identifying population fearful of using it all together, worried that it will only lead to an uptick in sebum.

The truth is that, one, a good face oil can often balance your skin, and two, it works wonders not only for restoring moisture to the skin, but also helping it retain that moisture as well as protecting the skin from outsider aggressors by acting as a nourishing barrier.

Here, I bring you a few face oil favourites for your winter skincare routines.
