Good afternoon, North Bay!

The controversy over the mayor's use of his city credit card continues, with Coun. Tanya Vrebosch telling us how she was tipped off about the expenditures.

We also managed to secure a copy of the city's expenses policy which confirms that the city's chief administrative officer would have had to approve the mayor's use of the card.

Over in Calvin, their landline phones are still not fixed after the storm, which is a real problem considering that cell coverage there is so spotty. All the phone lines are owned by Bell Canada, but the telecom hasn't given the municipality any update on when things will be fixed.

The lock-out of 30 North Bay WSIB workers may be coming to an end as well, with the provincial agency saying it and the union have reached a tentative agreement.

Enjoy, and we will see you back in your inbox on Wednesday!
