Activities from Project WILD, PLT, WET, and Population Education will be available for you to experience firsthand and bring back to your classrooms. Using this year's Envirothon's Current Issue topic of Nonpoint Source Pollution, we will examine the challenges it presents to ecosystems, methods to address inputs, improvements seen, and community/school connections with student action ideas. The Envirothon is a vibrant environmental program supported by the Conservation Districts and their partners. Current and interested high school teachers, students, school administrators, mentors, and resource providers are welcome to participate and share the information with their communities. It is free! ![]() Upcoming Events July 24- July 27, Pop of Color Outdoor Quilt Show Preserving the traditional and cultural heritage through public art. The public is welcome to attend this open exhibition of local quilters from across Connecticut, in partnership with the Southern Connecticut Modern Quilt Guild. The display is open Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm - at the Kellogg Estate, 500 Hawthorne Ave. Derby CT. Free. Call ahead to verify the quilts are on display.
