So I had this guy come up to me after a show the other night.
 
Said he’d been playing guitar for over 30 years.
 
Real-deal player. Been around the block…
 
He told me after my first solo of the night, he just stood there kinda stunned.
 
Told me, “Man… I’ve been doing this for decades. But after hearing that? I feel like I’ve been doing it all wrong.”
 
That stuck with me.
 
Not because he said it… but because I’ve heard it before.
 
From guys who’ve put in the time. Guys that know their scales, know their chords… but still feel stuck - mechanical - uninspired.
