June 6- News and Notes!
Rolling Valley Families,
We wrapped up our last full week of the 2024–25 school year—and what an amazing week it was, filled with joy and celebration!
Field day was our huge celebration this week! Thank you to all the parents that were able to volunteer and put smiles on all our student faces! It was a huge success!! Our second grade enjoyed their grade-level celebration, our fifth graders enjoyed their poetry slam, and our sixth graders shined during their Toastmasters celebration, and we were treated to a wonderful strings concert. We capped off the week with one of our favorite traditions: the Senior Walk! Former Rockin' Robins from West Springfield High School, Lewis High School, and Lake Braddock High School returned to walk our halls one last time. Welcoming them back and celebrating this momentous milestone is always a highlight of the year.
We hope you have a fantastic weekend! Just a reminder that the last day of school is next Wednesday, June 11, with a 2:00 PM dismissal.

Comprehensive Boundary Review
Phase 2 Community Boundary Review Meetings
Families, staff, and community members can explore and visualize potential boundary scenarios using a customized Boundary Explorer Tool. The tool will be accessible from the FCPS website. You are also invited to participate in another series of community meetings in order to review and reflect on the initial draft scenarios before the start of summer break:
Each meeting will be hybrid, meaning that you may attend in person or via Zoom. Childcare for in-person participants and language interpretation/translation for all participants will be available as needed. Registration links will be shared soon. Another round of community meetings will be held in the fall.
Visit FCPS’ Comprehensive Boundary Review page for more information.
