Dear Eagle View Families,
It’s hard to believe that the last day of school is just around the corner! What a fun and eventful week it has been at Eagle View—we’ve truly packed it full of joyful memories and meaningful moments.
We kicked off the week with our always-popular Field Day, and what a day it was! A huge shoutout to our amazing PE teachers, Mr. Randall and Mr. Niehoff, for organizing such a fun and unforgettable experience for our students. We are also deeply grateful to the more than 45 parent volunteers who made the day possible—thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm!
Throughout the week, we loved seeing so many of you join us for end-of-year grade-level picnics. These moments of family engagement and connection are what make Eagle View so special. Watching families connect with one another and celebrate the year together was truly heartwarming.
On Wednesday evening, our talented band and chorus students took the stage for a beautiful performance. Thank you to Mrs. Albertson, Mr. Walby, and Mrs. Johnson for your dedication to cultivating our students' musical talents and fostering their love of the arts.
One of the week’s most special moments was the Fairfax High School Grad Walk. At Eagle View, we make this tradition even more meaningful by having our Kindergarten students escort the seniors on their walk through the building. Many of the graduates were former Eagle View students, and it was incredibly moving to see them return to walk the halls one last time. We are so proud of the Class of 2025!
We wrapped up the week with our final P2 Assembly, celebrating our students’ growth in character and positive virtues. It has been truly rewarding to see our students embrace and live out the values of the Positivity Project all year long.
Looking ahead, we will celebrate our 6th grade students during their promotion ceremony this Monday. Please remember that the last day of school is Wednesday, June 11th, with a 2:00 PM dismissal.
Finally, to all of our families who are celebrating, we wish you a joyful Eid al-Adha. Eid Mubarak from all of us at Eagle View!
Thank you for a fantastic year of learning, growth, and partnership. Let’s finish strong!
Sincerely,
KJ An
Principal
