Dear Lynbrook Families,
We made it! As we wrap up this incredible school year, I want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your partnership, support, and trust made all the difference for our students.
This year was full of milestones and celebrations:
- We reduced chronic absenteeism from 13% to just under 10%!
- Our students shined in after-school clubs like Olympiad, Girls on the Run, soccer, chess, Academic Enrichment, and more.
- We expanded multilingual supports, implemented our Shamrock Block for enrichment and intervention, and strengthened our MTSS systems.
- We held powerful community events like Arts & Culture Night, Fall Curriculum Night, and of course, Lenny Day!
- Held our first-ever soccer match against Crestwood ES and won!!! Featured on Telemundo!
- Our 6th grade leaders grew through our partnership with Lewis High School, and our 4th grade students took their first steps into the AVID journey.
Looking ahead to next year, we’re excited to:
- Launch new family engagement opportunities
- Continue building strong classroom communities through Responsive Classroom
- Strengthen our academic programs with a continued focus on literacy and math
- And welcome back our amazing students and families in August!
