A Note from Dr. Goodloe:

Dear Chantilly Charger Community,

There are so many great things to celebrate at Chantilly as we wrap up school year 24-25! Today we celebrated our Class of 2025 with grad walks through the halls of Chantilly and the graduation ceremony for students in our Abilities program. We are so proud of our Chargers and cannot wait to celebrate the entire Class of 2025 at graduation on Tuesday, June 10 at 7 PM at Eagle Bank Arena.

Senior Spotlight

Class of 2025 student, Delaney Brooks, and journalist for our Chantilly Purple Tide is now the one in the news! Check out this feature story about her journey as a learner at Chantilly and where she is headed after graduation. Congratulations Delaney!

Special Retirement Recognition

It was my pleasure to attend the retirement celebration of long time Chantilly staff and community member, Teresa Clawson-Keeton this week. Teresa has served as an Employment and Transition Resource Teacher at several schools in FCPS throughout her career. Her mission has been to provide access for all students to meaningful work experiences to help prepare them for careers following graduation. She was recognized by Senator Stella Pekarsky with a resolution in her honor (pictured below). We are so grateful for the tremendous, lasting impact Teresa has made on our school and community.

Facilities Updates - Track and Field Closed to the Public until August 1

Work has begun to renovate our stadium field. For the remainder of the school year and until the completion of the project the track is closed to ensure the safety of our community.  The stadium restroom is nearing completion and we look forward to opening it when we return in August for events in our stadium.

I look forward to connecting with you at Chantilly very soon!

Sincerely,

Amy T. Goodloe, Ed.D.

Principal, Chantilly HS

NOVA’s Early Online College is back for the Fall 2025 Semester!

NOVA Early Online College (EOC) allows rising high school juniors and seniors (will be 11th and 12th graders in 25-26 SY) the opportunity to take up to 2 tuition free college coursesDeadline is Friday, July 25, 2025 at 5pm.

  • 13 courses offered
  • Courses run for 12 weeks
  • Courses are asynchronous, online, and for college credit only
  • Students must meet eligibility requirements (GPA or available test scores) to take EOC courses

New Textbook Policy: Some EOC courses require a textbook. Students will be automatically enrolled in NOVA ALL ACCESS ($22.50 per credit hour). Spring 2025 SOL Score Reporting

We want to thank our students and families for their flexibility and support during our Spring 2025 SOL testing.  We are still working with students on makeup testing and/or retakes; we are grateful that we were able to successfully administer 2100+ SOL’s in May alone.  Formal SOL score reports will begin posting to SIS ParentVUE Documents as we approach the end of the school year.

  • Grade 12 students - Daily beginning Tuesday, May 20
  • Grade 9-11 students - Daily beginning Wednesday, May 28

As a reminder, families and students also have access to SOL preliminary scores in SIS ParentVUE and StudentVUE with updates 1-2 times weekly.

If you have any questions about your student’s SOL scores, please contact Jillian Domenech, CHS Assessment Coach, jcdomenech@fcps.edu
