Rivian update enhances EV charging, energy management

Rivian's software update provides detailed vehicle energy usage insights through an updated Energy app and faster charging speeds. The app shows energy intake and output in real time, offers tips on conservation and includes a Trip Target feature for optimal charging during trips. Additionally, Rivian has added battery preconditioning and increased DC charging speeds, with plans for smart charging and bidirectional charging.

    Amazon has set up a San Francisco facility where it is testing humanoid robots designed to handle delivery from Amazon vans, a source told tech news outlet the Information. The company is reportedly using its own AI software while integrating hardware from other manufacturers, and initial trials have already been conducted using robots from Agility Robotics in Amazon warehouses.
