What a year it's been! We extend our deepest gratitude to our entire Providence community—students, teachers, staff, parents, guardians, volunteers, and community partners. Your dedication, hard work, and support have made this year an amazing success.
We are incredibly proud of our students' growth and accomplishments. To our amazing staff, your passion and commitment create an inspiring learning environment. And to our families and volunteers, we are so grateful for our partnership.
Wishing everyone a safe, restful, and wonderful summer break. We look forward to welcoming you back, refreshed and ready for another exciting year ahead!

Last Day of School - June 11
Last Day of School (Early Dismissal)The last day of the school year is Wednesday, June 11, and students will be dismissed early. Providence will dismiss at 1:25pm.

PES Summer Hours & Important Dates
As the school year winds down, we're getting ready for summer! Here's what you need to know about Providence Elementary School's summer hours and important dates:
Summer Office Hours: Our main office will be open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on weekdays throughout the summer.
Closures: Please note that Providence ES will be closed on the following dates:
- Thursday, June 19th & Friday, June 20th
- Friday, July 4th
Summer School Program: For students attending, our Summer School program will run from Monday, July 7th through Friday, August 1st.

Medication Pick Up Alert
For students who have medications in the clinic the last day to pick up your students’ mediations is Friday, June 6th.
Medication left at school after June 11th, will be destroyed. It is school policy that medications must be picked up by parent or guardian, it cannot be sent homes with the student.

Attention Rising 7th Graders
All students entering 7th grade are required to receive one dose of each of the following immunizations prior to the beginning of school: Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis booster (Tdap), Meningococcal vaccine (MenACWY) and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.
- To meet the Meningococcal (MenACWY) requirement, the vaccination must be administered at age 10 or older.
- As a parent/guardian, you may decide that your child not receive the HPV vaccination. The school does not require documentation if a parent/guardian elects for their student not to receive the HPV vaccination.
ACTION REQUESTED: If you haven’t done it yet, kindly present an immunization documents Fatima Ataba (Student Information Assistant/Registrar) at your child’s school as soon as possible to proof you’re your child has received the vaccines.
Final Spirit Week of the Year
Get ready to show your school pride one last time, because our final Spirit Week of the year is next week (June 9, 10 & 11).
This is your chance to go all out and participate in our exciting daily themes. We've got a fantastic lineup planned to make this last Spirit Week the best one yet!
