Joseph Czuba was sentenced to 53 years for the racially motivated slaying of a 6-year-old Palestinian American boy and wounding of his mother in a Chicago suburb. Czuba stabbed Wadee Alfayoumi and his mother, who were renting rooms at his home, after launching into an anti-Muslim rant days after Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack in Israel.
