There are some pretty useful (and just plain cool) features hidden in your phone—if you know where to look. And even if you think you know your iPhone inside out, each new iOS update brings with it a handful of hacks that make everyday life easier.

One example? The easiest way to share a Wi-Fi password on an iPhone is to stand close to the other person, have them go into their Settings app and select the network, and then just … hit the “Share Password” button that pops up. You can also easily share the password with non-iPhone users by showing them a QR code in the Passwords app. No more reading alphabet soup aloud to your house guests.
