In April We Recognize...
National Child Abuse Prevention Month
National Child Abuse Prevention Month (NCAPM) recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect.
This month highlights the role that education and prevention play in creating safe, stable, and nurturing relationships, homes, and communities for all children. It takes a community-wide effort to keep children safe by learning appropriate ways to care for a child, or reporting abuse. Visit our Child Protective Services page to learn how to identify abuse and neglect or make a report.
