| Today’s news and insights for supply chain leaders
NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
President Donald Trump is set to unveil his long-promised plan to enact reciprocal tariffs around 4 p.m. EST today at the White House.
The new levies will come a day after cabinet officials were scheduled to report findings from the U.S. trade policy review Trump ordered on his first day back in office.
Although the reports have not been made public yet, they were meant to evaluate trade agreements and potentially unfair trade practices by other countries, likely setting the stage for today’s announcement.
Any additional tariffs the Trump administration unveils will go into effect immediately, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters Tuesday. We'll be watching the events closely and will share major news with you. Sign up for our newsletters for updates.
